Set up your first earning rule
Configure how members earn points on every order - in about five minutes.
Why this matters
The earn rate is the single number that decides what your programme costs and what it is worth to a member. Set it too low and points feel pointless; set it too high and you are discounting every order. This is also where minimum order value and a maximum earning cap live, so it is worth getting right before anyone joins.
What you'll need
- A live Shopify or WooCommerce connection
- A tier already created (or use the default)
- 5 minutes
Steps
Open Points & Rewards settings
Go to the Points & Rewards section in your Mylo admin and select the tier you want to configure.
Set the earn rate
Choose how many points a member earns per unit of spend for this tier.
Add optional limits
Set a minimum order to qualify, and an optional maximum spend that earns, so the rule fits your margins.
Override specific products
If a product or variant should earn a different rate, set it from Product-Level Earning Rules - the standard rate still applies everywhere else.
Save and watch it apply
The rule takes effect immediately. Balances update within seconds of the next order.
